Agenda Book
This in my agenda book. It is my main organizational tool! If you don't have one I definitely recommend getting one.
Relaxing read
Here is the book I am currently reading. I love nothing more than to curl up and read a book. It is so relaxing!
Time Management
The must important adjustment students have to make when coming to college is time management. While in high school I personally always had my parents their nagging me to get homework done and to get good grades. When I got to college I was on my own! Here are some time management tips that I use:
- Purchase and use an agenda book!
- Use a calendar and mark down test dates
- Write down your class and work schedule
- Know when you have free time
- Don't procrastinate, the assignment most always will take longer than you expect
- Designate a quiet space to do homework ( mine is the library or my room)
- Do a little homework each night instead of a huge amount on one night
- Do your homework before having fun (unless its the weekend)
- Organization is key
- Attempt to leave a certain amount of time for relaxation each day
I hope these tips are helpful, they certainly have helped me!
Surviving College
College is one of the most enjoyable times in an individual's life. College is about getting the tools we need to be successful in our careers and lives. It also is a time to have fun. The enjoyment you have in college will be ending after graduation when you have to enter the real world. So enjoy college life now while you can.
