Time Management

The must important adjustment students have to make when coming to college is time management.  While in high school I personally always had my parents their nagging me to get homework done and to get good grades. When I got to college I was on my own!  Here are some time management tips that I use:
  • Purchase and use an agenda book!
  • Use a calendar and mark down test dates 
  • Write down your class and work schedule
  • Know when you have free time
  • Don't procrastinate, the assignment most always will take longer than you expect
  • Designate a quiet space to do homework ( mine is the library or my room)
  • Do a little homework each night instead of a huge amount on one night
  • Do your homework before having fun (unless its the weekend)
  • Organization is key
  • Attempt to leave a certain amount of time for relaxation each day
I hope these tips are helpful, they certainly have helped me!
